Clutch cable

I've fitted new clutch on my e16se and I've adjusted cable but seems like it needs more what is the best way to adjust any one know roughly how much should show at the box end?:thumb:

On my 20xe I had to make a spacer to fit between the adjuster and the clutch fork cos the outer cable was too long.

I don't think there is a specific amount of thread that should be showing it's just how the clutch feels on the car.

I pull the cable as tight as possible and then wind the adjust down so there is a tiny amount of slack in the cable.
