C20xe water pump help

My first waterpump change in a nova any help and advice would be appreciated
Am I right in thinking that all the pullys have to come off minus the two cam pullys to take the backing plate off to get access to the water pump ??

On mine the pulleys have to come off to get the back plate off yes

It's such a pain in the ass for space I normally just drop the engine and box out to do it. Can get the engine out in 90 mins which I see as easier than all the ballache in that tight space but I know others have done it with the engine in.
