Help needed on 1.2 spi fitment

Hi, basically I’m planning to chuck a 1.2 spi into my mk1 whilst I take out the e16se & sort out something else to go in.
i have the engine but need to sort out an injection loom & ecu.
Do I need the speed sensor? Is it possible to rob anything off a corsa b?

Basically what do I need to make it work?

i think the original e16se ignition controller will work it, is it worth using it?

Probably easier to fit a 1.2 carb

Speed sensor isn't essential, but will cause it to cut out randomly as you approach junctions and stuff.
The transducers from Corsa Bs will do the same job
