Mk1 nova heater / blower / fan

Hi,

Blower motor on my 86 nova is pretty much seized. Sprayed it, moved it by hand and it worked fine. Left for a few days and it worked but instantly started slowing down.

Posted a wanted add for replacement, but i am wondering if any other vauxhalls had the same blower motor as the mk1 nova?

Any difference between the mk1 and mk2 parts?

Mk1/2 nova fans are the same appart from Early base model mk1 had a 2 speed fan so resistor pack on them only has 2 speeds. No other vaux used the same fan to my knowledge. At least the housing anyway.

Thanks, if i dont have any luck i'll try sorting this one as it did work well when i got it going!

Any tips for removing plastic cowling without damaging it would be appreciated!
