Hi.

If I had a c20let with a pot type flywheel and an F20 box, would the c20xe clutch kit be the one I need?

Thanks

Yes - you'll need the later style c20xe pressure plate. (All the friction plates are the same)

Thanks Will. I have had a look on ebay and the pressure plates cover vehicles from 88 to 98? https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-LUK-C20XE-Pressure-Plate-For-F20-F18-F16-Gearbox-Clutch-123012010/123185729284?hash=item1cae710f04:g:uqEAAOSwLwNbH4I g

Like that one?

Just the c20xe pot type works fine but to be totaly honest the flat type seem to be much easyer to get clutch kits for so if you have it apart id be tempted to find a flat flywheel .

Pots are less likely to slip than a flat. My 280bhp C20LET has had a few slipping issues, I have been told the pots hold much better.

Thanks all. The engine came with a clutch kit for a flat fly, so I took the flat fly from the XE and bolted that on. It will be easier to change the clutch in situ with the flat I reckon.

Flat flywheels are easier to work with, but can suffer with slippage issues if you're running higher power.
