I have. On what you say. My fookin' Nova.
It passed the MOT a few weeks back.
But all this happerns in two weeks.

Head gasket blows. Replaced.
Dizzy cap fooks up. Replaced.
Headlight bulbs blow. Replaced with new ones.
Spotlight falls off and goes under wheel.
Tailgate numberplate light falls out.
Paint SR spoiler really well. It bends and all the paint cracks.
Take off nearside GSi skirt fin to reveal a 7 inch hole created by rust. Needs grinding / welding / filling / painting.
My window winder worps and bends. Got one from scrappy. Still does not work properly.
Somebody reverses into my front bumper and my paint falls off again.
My hazard lights STILL don't work.
Needs new wiper blades.

And it's a 1 litre. So I have given up on it. Might sell it to someone for about ?200.

Anyone else had as much bad luck?

I don't think I can like it again. I have finally realised it's a poxy 1 litre with as much power as a broken lawnmower.

just take on one job at a time, try and get it all sorted as youve got 12 months ticket on it, even if you just sort it so its not 100% looking good or whatever, then see in a years time?

Some excellent advice form Mr Fester there, It would also seem that you have fixed quite a bit allready so not too much left to do....Stick with it...It's difficult to find a car at the lower end of the price bracket that does not require constant 'adjustment'
