Hi Guys

I have a standard C20xe manifold from a Cavalier and wandering if it will fit the nova or if i need to have a custom manifold made up?

Havent had chance to trial fit and in the mean time i want to paint the flange and wrap the pipes.
But dont want to waste my time doing this unless it fits correctly.

Can anyone help?

Standard xe manifold will fit an xe nova no problem

Thanks for confirming, will get on with wrapping it then.

Do people tend to build a new system from the end of the manifold to the back box then?

It's advisable, most off the shelf nova systems are made for a 1.6 at most so do tend to restrict an xe

Ashley did (or do?) a 2.25 and 2.5 system off the shelf. They will need fettling to mate to the XE downpipe, but that's easy enough

Thanks Will. I have a full stainless system thats 2.25" already off the 1.6 setup. May re use some of this.
I have a friend who has just started out building custom exhaust systems but love the sound of my powerflow backbox.
Will just get him to couple from the c20xe manifold to back box then.

Thanks all for the help
