1.6 8v small block

Looking for a 1.6 8v small block which do people think is the best? and any carbs /throttle bodies / bike carbs manifold to suit.
any thing about cheers

You can pick up a complete Astra G 1.6 8v for less than 400£ now. This is what I have just done and you get everything you need as you have a running car.
