Engine Advice Required

Hello guys new to the forum so just getting used to things on here I have bought a 1.0l Nova Merit as my first large project I'm wanting to replace the engine with something bigger maybe 1400/1600 possible even 2L what do people suggest please car will be used for fast road/track car

Doesn't the 1.0 have a different engine mount to all the other models that needs to be changed for anything else to go in?

The chassis leg mount is the same, just the actually bolt on mount is different
