Good morning all, as an ex Nova owner (almost 20 years ago) I always wanted another someday, so after 8 imprezas I decided my keeper would be a breeze blue SRI. That's was untill I went on the look at the beginning of the year! I couldn't believe how rare they had become and the price they are fetching. I bought one in 1998 for 2k!
I located a nice clean 1993 Sri in Northern Ireland, it's been reshelled asthe owner said the original one was beyond saving and he had a mint diner she'll. It's got all the previous mot's and a bit of service history from Manchester, it was completed and mot'd last year but only 81 miles were driven since the mot. The only downside was that it's red, but it is a good solid example I thought so, The deal was done and I collected it.
It's complete and needs for nothing but a full strip down and flatten and buff as the paint job is a disaster to say the least, looks like it was painted with a garden nap sack. If it cannot be rectified it'll get it resprayed as I want it right.
Looking forward to getting it on the road and to a few uk shows during the summer.
when I figure out how to post pictures I'll put up a few.
Cheers
John

Similar story to my own, owned 3 Nova's 20 years ago and I've just bought another.

Congratualtions on your buy.

The trick to posting pics is to upload them to an image website somewhere and then post the link to them using the insert image button.

Dia Duit a chara. Is misa as Eireann freisin. Nothing wrong with a Red Nova and well done on finding an SRi at all! I used to buy Novas for €50, now you simply can't find one, so consider it a win!
