Could be a blockage somewhere in the fuel system.

Hi I've cleaned the tank out an bin told it could be fuel pump so gunna try it soon as it comes it's a mechanical pump ! Any ideas if this has a electronic pump as well cheers

I gave it a blast with my compressor and fuel shot out it was ticking over perfect it's soon as i drive it it Boggs out and will only run on high revs ! Ile try the pump tomorrow hopefully it works out cheers for the reply if the pump don't sort it I will deffo move to the carb

Cheers I will post some pics of my carb as I think it has a twin Webber on but not sure hopefully I will be able to source one on here

Take the jet out of the carb and check it . Also check the brake servo vac non return valve

the enrichment jet in the 2e3 carb can block, after any acceleration when hot the plugs overheat due to fuel starvation and they conk out. I would assume either carb or ignition timing.
