Hi guys.
I'm picking up some Nova Sport Webers later on in the week and I was just looking at some pictures of them, and it looks like the vacuum port on 143 is a blank. It might just be the picture, but does that sound right?
Many thanks

Blank or missing? If missing, probably not a correct carb - could have simply had a cover taken off a 143.

Hi Alex, doesn't sound right, if you need additional pictures let me know, have some carbs loose on the shelf ;)

I'd appreciate that Royston. Are they the old pair that went with the car?
I can see the casting for it and the pipe, but the whole looks blank.
I thought 143 and 144 were the only ones that had vacuum, so shouldn't be a different model.

Do you think it has snapped off perhaps?

Is might have done. Is the pipe part of the casting or screwed in? Might be able to source a replacement if so.
Thanks again!

I suspect the vacuum pipe is cast into the body, but I'm pretty sure a solution could be found, with a bit of thought.......

Thanks for the pictures. One looks screwed in, the other cast.
