View Full Version : Pressing rubber bushes into front tie bar bracket

As above anyone know how this is done. I have tried threaded rod with nuts and washers with no joy

Just done mine with poly bushes. All I did is use plenty of lube and sat the bush inside using a socket the same size hammer in job done.

^^^ same as above plenty of lube and and some good action with your hammer shaft and she will be sorted lol:thumb:

That's the problem these are rubber and one piece no hope of hammering them in.

MG no need for any of this; angle grind one side off with a cutting disk & push out.

New bush; same 1MM cutting disk cut the middle of the bush creating 2 halves.

10 min cake mode
