got a 1.3 ashley system yesterday, didnt fit old downpipe on 1.2, so went to scrappy and found a 1.6, so i thought yeah that'l fit wont it, got the manifold and down pipe off the 1.6 paid 35 for it. got home and fitted them, and fitted the ashley zorst BUT it doesn't meet up in the middle so im guessing i bungled hard! it pokes out to the left...

could i ask the place that i got my zorst from if they could send me the other bit for the middle from the 1.6 system?

or can i use a hammer to get the results i want :D

its where the cat would be on the gte i think. didnt see it when i got it coz it was sitting on another car and asumed that the zorst would be the same. obviously not

think you need to work out the lenght and the shape it needs to be. without trying to plug them, try ringing midlands performance center and see if they can make the bit. they mak ashley zorst. i battered an old bb4 system into place once. it was held together with zorst filler and failed mot every year.
