Selling my nova mainly because my other car hasn't sold and this was an impulse buy, i had always said i never wanted another track focussed only project car again after my previous 3 cars. The car's only on 52000 miles, both previous owners have been mature, the one before last had the engine rebuilt and fitted all the internal uprated parts so its been ran relaible for years, its such a fun car the engine pulls like a train. The previous owner i bought it off only used it on weekends for 6 months of the year for his 9yr ownership, because of this the first thing i done the day after bringing it home was getting a triple layer car cover as i don't have a garage.
The car has 3 months MOT, 4 months Tax.
The spec is as follows-
C20xe with coil pack ignition
Coscast head
Jenvey DTH 45mm Throttle Bodies with ITG filter
DTA management
Kent Cams
Solid lifters
ARP rod bolts
Ashley big bore manifold, 2.5'' exit
Sportex exhaust, nice n quiet
GSI fuel tank
Cortenay Motorsport Driveshafts
Some Samco hoses
13row Oil cooler
F20 Gearbox
Quickshift gearlinkage
Seam welded engine bay
Solid top mounts
Raceland coilovers
Mk3 Astra Fanblade wheels, with good '45 tyres
OMP front and rear strut braces
Aerocatches on the bonnet
Mk2 Dash
Toad alarm and Immob
Everything I've done in the past 8weeks-
-Had the map refreshed at EFI Parts, see the graph in pictures
-Baffled sump with some 10w60 fully synthetic, new exhaust manifold and rubber sump gaskets
-Nissens Radiator and lightweight fan
-New Calibra Turbo calipers, Lotus Exige 288mm discs, Yellowstuffs pads, typ200 fluid, brakes are mega!
-Corsa quick rack with new rods and rod ends, poly mounts, transformed the car.
Bad points
-Now the downside is i've sold the interior and i've cut out the original seat mounts (see pictures) to weld in bars for bucket seats, i can get bars welded in but it could take afew weeks before i can get this done.
-Only major rust is on the offside rear arch (see picture), previous owner said this hadn't gotten any worse in his ownership with garaging it and only bringing her out in the dry.
-Glovebox front has broken off, only the front part with the handle not the door itself
I'm after £4500 which also includes some in the box GAZ GOLD suspension which i've just bought with 6'' 450lb front springs, 9'' 350lb rear springs..
Or £3750 without the suspension as i'll have to sell this and i highly doubt ill get anywhere near the money i paid back as they're £1160!
So the car is good to go and reliable, it'll be an animal on track once the suspensions fitted and some bucket seats in!
