Air flow meter advice

When replacing an air flow meter, do you have to set up anything, or is it just a straight forward swap?

swap as far as i know.

someone on here will tell you if there are variances between siemens and bosch ecu using diffrent AFM, i dont see why though.

id disconnect the battery and reset the ECU. because if the AFM been functioning incorrectly, it might have had a detremental effect on incorrectly adjusting the brain.
