Well, this escalated quickly, I'm sure we don't mind this on here, you'll all get great amounts of pleasure from seeing the money it's costing me, I'm sure!!!

Anyway, drove over to Northern Ireland to pick this up, low mileage, few things I didn't like so talked the guy out of a wedge from the asking price, 3 owners from new, 78,000 miles

Few bits I don't like, tiny bit of bubbling on the corners of the bootlid where there drain holes have blocked!!
Cleaned them out now but I'll remove and treat the bubbles then it's off to be sprayed 11th July, along with the passenger door that had a dent in it that's been filled and sprayed badly, that's being sorted and the side of the car painted.

Suspension needs replacing but I've had a deal up with someone for a replacement on that.

Decided to have a look at the rear diff front mount this morning as it's shot.

Managed to get it out after snapping the bolt and having to cut the nut off with a hacksaw blade!!

Space is at a premium up in there!! PITA!!

All done now and ready for road test!!

New engine and box oil cooler on order along with some new lines, set of quadralink arms all round and we need to make some new intercoolers.

Apart from that little lot, happy days!!

I think all Audi's are the same lol horendously expensive when they break lol

Mines had a new turbo & Egr valve already this year which came in at just under a grand. Few weeks after that the brake pad low level light has come on & it now needs a new windscreen aswell lol

But truth be told, theres no other car id want to be doing 25k miles a year in.

theres few feelings better than buying an RS6,
However one of them is selling your RS6!
i had a c6 for 2 years and loved it, just enjoy it and never think of the costs!

I wanted a C6, mainly cos the chocolate gearboxes are a little stronger and no DRC couldn't stretch to the £25k needed for a half decent one!!

I just like how lazy it is and also how everyone just thinks it's an Audi estate!!

Best thing for headlights I find is to 1500 wet flat them then polish them up with 3m fast cut like new when done.

I wet sanded my old mk5 golf headlights and used 1500 3000 and 5000 grit paper. They turned out pretty good aswell.

Yeah I'm on that next!! Need to use the 1500 a bit more to get the deep scratches out then I can go up to 5000 as you say and use the polish. Anyone any tips on keeping them clean? I read you can put something on them but can think what it was!!
