Hi all,

My side skirts a really badly dis-coloured and was looking the best way to get them back to as new condition.

Try the heat gun trick. Gently heat the skirts bringing out the colour if the plastic then gel them up using autoglym bumper gel.

Thanks for the tip, will it damage them in anyway?

Only if you get to close with the heat gun. When you do it you will see the plastic go darker as it heats try to get it all even then gel them up to make them last.

I would go for the Wurth plastic dye product. Its tremendous! Ive just done the bumpers on my transporter and its permanent - unlike the back to black products you get!

I've tried that wurth stuff and it's shite. Did my bumpers and after 6 months it looked shocking. Wouldn't recommend it.

Which one did you use? I am 2 months in and they still look new. There are loads of rave reviews on loads of the forums about it - people say it lasts years. Can only assume you bought a different product?!

I have been looking into this and it's getting mixed reviews, dies it come in any different colours as black might be to dark for his skirts?
