1.6i 8v nova conversion

hi not sure if this is in the right place correct me if im wrong

i have currently just put a 1.6i C16SE engine with 5 speed box into my vauxhall nova 1.2i.

the car runs fine im have a few issues with it stalling when i come to a stop! i have wired in the speed sensor but still have the same problems anyone got any advise for me on what i can do to fix this problem.

Are you sure you have the correct speed sensor as I believe there is more then one type. You may have got a better response if you had put it in the mechanical section.

thank you total nova.. this is the first time ive used this site... i belive i had got the correct one with the AA printed on it.

i have wire it up as so
black to 12v
blue/red to blue/red on the 9pin plug
brown to the ground cable under the bonnet..
