Thanks mate, it failed but only on:

Nearside Brake cable has wires broken and is significantly weakened (3.5.1b)Offside Brake cable has wires broken and is significantly weakened (3.5.1b)

On a 26 year old Nova, that's pretty much a pass lol

Warnings on a front tyre getting a bit thin on tread and my front number plate has a crack (warning every year on that lol)

RESULT!!!! WOOHOO!! Another year of Nova fun!!

You can have the handbrake cables changed in an hour so yeah, that's as good as a pass lol
