Fibreglass/ filler

Hi I've just put a set of arches in my nova and gave them a skim of fibreglass filler then flatted down . I was wondering am I ok to go over that with a body filler now to get the desired finish or will it not adhere to it properly? Thanks sam ps this is all to bare metal

Yes just give it a good sand with 80 grit for a key
