Hi guys what's the best way to store an engine possibly long term. It's an e16se am I right in saying your suppose to remove the spark plugs and pour a bit of engine oil in and then keep turning it over once in a while

cheers guys Rich

Iam in the same situation pal. I rebuilt my e16se last year it won't be going in any time soon. All I have done is put fresh oil in and turn it over by hand every couple of weeks. Just hope and prey all is well when she goes in lol.

I leave spark plugs in less moisture to corrode the bores just spray a load of wd40 over everything

Aslong as the plugs are kept in it will be fine.

Fogging spay is what you want for the internals or marvel mystery oil don't use reg oil as it is not designed for storage uses!!!
I use Vaseline for external surfaces for long term storage heat it up in the microwave & brush it on it will never rust ;)

Cheers guys leaving the plugs on makes sence regarding moisture. It's been out 2 years and still turns over so should be fine
