i've had the car quite a few years now, but it's just in storage at the moment. I would like just a few bits that are either missing or damaged to make her complete :) so when i have some time i can get her back on the road

Mine, 1985 early SR had a Philips radio cassette, but it got stolen.........:mad:

and I replaced it with a Panasonic unit of far better quality, for the late eighties lol

As far as I know it had this one fitted as standard. Perhaps some had the optional extra of the cassette??

Mine is a 1985 and it had an optional extra cassette player but it was not fitted originally with it as standard, it was fitted a few years later in about 87 as far as I know.

Have you checked the numbers on the plate on the slam panel??? The POC plate will give you the code for what was fitted as standard.

if you search on this forum for POC details there is loads of info on the thread.....think it's about 3/4 years ago.

I'm pretty sure my Phillips unit didn't have FM radio, I remember thinking after it was stolen it wasn't worth much to sell on, and I could now buy some thing decent :)

Yes just MW and LW. Push button type.

No it was a phillips digital grey front, similar to what was fitted to my Rover Vitesse (except it had FM ;) )
