As above really, I'm wondering what site you's use if anyone on here does buy them. I'm having problems getting money into a bitcoin wallet which is rather annoying and their customer service is utter pish.

Some things only take payment in bit coins hence me needing an account

I never seen that before, as far as I was aware it was some internet currency that's not worth anything in the real world.

I could be wrong though lol

I've thought about "mining" them using the vast number of underused servers at work lol

Haha, thought I'd ask as you never know. I know nothing about them investment wise except they've went up in value something daft over the last few years. All I've been needing to do is add money to the account which they've made very difficult for some reason

A friend of mine was buying bitcoins, cant remember the whole ins and outs of his conversation, but the value of them translated into realy money value, and he had quite a bit.

Thread bump...

If youd have bought one coin when this thread was created they were worth about £800 (mid feb 2017).

Youd cash that same coin out today for around £8,450.

Lucky for me I bought 2 when I dropped to around £500 and bought a few etherium when they were £20 each too!

Ripple not really doing much at minute, on a downward 2% over the last 24hrs. Tipped to be on the up & up one day tho.

Aye, I've had that ripple a good 6 months and it's barely moved. I'll just hold it though. Never know what'll happen in 10 years.
