Is it posible to fit a fuel tank fom a cavvy into a nova???

My cars a carb model and gonna get a cav 2.0 sri and wanted to know if the tank would fit.

well the simple answer is yes it will fit (anything can be made to fit), but is it worth the hassle...............no. get a gte/gsi tank/lines etc

Yer i might do that or i might just change fuel lines over or do what valver said to do.

no dont just change the lines, the tank needs to be changed aswell or you WILL be down on power!!

Not according to Valvers.com, they say you can fit a fuel pump in the engine bay and connect it from there to the fuel system and change the return pipe.


You will not lose power just because of the fuel tank. All the fuel tank does is stores fuel, The only time it will lose power is on hard cornering and the engine is starved of fuel due to fuel being pushed to the side of the tank by cornering forces.

just get a GTE/GSI tank and use that, straight swop
