View Full Version : In tank Pump?
I've picked up a SPI tank, but need to know what's the best pump to run it in to power my LET.
What's the score?

I've think I remember reading before some people use a mk3 16v Astra in tank pump
mk3 Astra one is in-tank yes. From what I understood they are the same across the MPI range (1.6 2.0 etc). I ran one for both my 16SE and 20XE.
You may find the bottom touches the plastic swirl pot, from what I remember you can either compress it in slightly or attempt to shorten it.
Id imagine most of the GM/Bosch internal pumps are the same?
Corsa 16v, Vectra etc?
The good news is that the high-flow internal pumps from the likes of Walbro etc are pretty cheap, compared to the external ones.
Someone else said about Walbro pump.. But i dont know which one see... Anyone know?
But if i can use say a Mk3 Astra i might go what way for ease.
They are mostly the same sizes so you can't go far wrong if you get one for a vauxhall!

As said most MPI in tank pumps are similar, if you get a Walbro 255 for a corsa b or Astra f you should be ok, mines got a standard corsa MPI pump in the tank.
