Right, so my friend James recently bought a 1.2 mk2 Nova and plans on completely re-doing it and fitting in a 1.7TD in it, and has a lot of questions he'd like to ask, but he's too much of a muppet shy to introduce himself, so I'm doing it for him. Say hello to James.

Was toying with the idea for a company car... dam cheap if you don't click too many options when compared to other cars in the same sort of performance range!

Oh yes, James, what are your questions? Must be something about fuel tank swaps, fuel pump mounting and loom fitting....

I know this usually goes in "parts wanted" but he's looking for a mk2 GSi/GTe spoiler. Anyone have one?

Andy
30-12-16, 04:35 PM
Bit of a muppet?? What kind of fucking noncecase is too shy to post anonymously behind a username but welcomes all and sundry to add him on Facebook hahahaha I've heard some shite in my time lol
Whats to be shy for? He's probably asking for some speed lines and advice on what catty is best ffs not asking for a fucking rusty trombone ffs.
Theres no wonder the forums fucked with proxy fucking noobs man lol

Stuart
30-12-16, 06:23 PM
Tbh he'd do better asking for a rusty trombone than nova parts

EwanG

Why is he fannying about with a shitty Nova anyway?? Is he buttoned up the back lol

ShawnAzzopardi
30-12-16, 06:36 PM
Hey, I'm just the messenger.

And he's building this Nova for the drag really, just as a hobby car. Dunno if it'll ever see the roads again tbh

Cheers for posting pics. It looks pretty clean and the steel wheel could be a winner if they were painted gloss black :thumb:. What's the temperature in Malta just now then?

Shame that it's so rotted underneath the hood, that you could easily fit a pack of cigarettes through the gaping hole by the suspension mount.
It was 7 this morning and then around 16 in the afternoon. No clue about right now.

Stuart

Holes weigh less than metal or carbon

ShawnAzzopardi
30-12-16, 08:03 PM
I'd rather there be a minimal amount of them though.

ShawnAzzopardi

He asked if a mk2 dash is compatible with a mk1. It is, right?

Is this friend even real lol? It's only a forum, a quiet one at that, just introduce yourself and say hi. We don't bite, not all of us anyway.

totalnova
30-12-16, 09:46 PM
And yes the dash boards can be swapped over

Jack
31-12-16, 12:31 PM
Bit of plug swapping required though for the switches. And you need all the heater cables, vent ducting etc
