The only way you'll be able to know how much insurance will cost is to phone around. It depends on the area that you live in, if you're getting fully comp or 3rd Party, are you going to be a named driver? It's hard to give you an accurate figure, especially since I was 17 ten years ago, so no doubt prices have changed since when I was 17.

Get your Yellow pages, phone as many companies as you can and bounce quotes of each of them till you get as good a price as possible.

i am 17 got quoted ?1500 on a 1.3SR so sud be close to that
