Whatever the spec I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. The engine is probably shagged after what looks like a very heavy accident.
holy fuckballs, I'd like to hope those inside were ok, No obvious signs of being cut out which should be a potivite thing I guess.
Strutbrace looks to have done a good job though...... silver linings and all that.

Holy shit that's disgusting selling a car someone had a fatal accident in!

I'm not sure exactly on the rules. I thought if it was a fatal then it would be a CAT A and had to be destroyed, perhaps because he didn't actually die in the car then it's different.

Im not so sure I like the idea, but, would you want a fellow Nova lover to make the most of what they could in your demise. If i dropped dead tomorrow someone could have a field day with stuff I have. I'd want it to be used.

Any car involved in a fatal crash like that should be buried not auctioned off.
No it should be crushed.
burying a car would present somewhat an environmental hazard, hence why cars have never been buried legitimately.
I say legitimately because stolen cars iv heard of being buried amongst other forms of disposal
CAT B, its a breaker so not like you'd see a 'legal' version of it on the road...
Exactly.as far as I know, fatal's matter not,iv seen copart cars with blood on them etc.
Hell, somebody could have an heart attack at the wheel and the car undamaged on finance,do you think they would bury or crush that car?

Still seems perverse a fatal collision and sold on
Worse things have happened in houses that have been sold many times over

That's a fair point
With the circumstances sorry but for me it seems pretty sick.

This car had a head on with a jeep cherokee. Guy was killed instantly. I posted it on Scottish novas fb page and it went mental. Didn't know it was his until I received a pile of pms asking me to remove it. Cars where someone is killed should automatically be crushed and never seen again.
Sorry guys i would have not asked about this car if i knew some poor fella lost his life in it, the car should not be up for auction rip fella

There is nothing in the salvage code of practice that states a car involved in a fatal must be classed as a Cat A and be crushed, it basically states that if the car is damaged to the extent it is not repairable but has parts that can be resold or recycled then it becomes a Cat B. It's basically up to the salvage operator and with Copart they will sell anything to anyone if it makes them a profit.
