Got my new repair panels inner and outer. I've being reading through previous projects and noticed people not repairing the inners and making them single skinned as last longer. Any one got any pics of what they have done with theirs?

A lot of people have used two outer skins as an inner and outer so the match up well.
I got an inner and outer for mine for both arches and one side fit well but the other didn't as in the inner arch was a slightly different shape than the outer

I had to cut my inner repair panel into three sections to get it to line up with the outer repair panel.
I cant really see how you can single skin the rear arch unless you mean make the inner Panel join a bit higher up in the arch.

I'm just doing one now. I have just made the inner up out of steel and tacked it to the outer up high. That's an accident repair on a competition car but I would say if its a decent model do it properly.

Struggling to get the outer welded on. I've tacked it on but cos the panel is so thin kept blowing holes even with the welder turned right down. So I've cut it back off as was knackered by the time I'd finished. That's one wasted!.

As long as the gap isn't too big you should be fine, just point the tip at the previous weld. Don't do more than one or two welds in the same place, keep moving.

i did the Craig above, i cut the rust off, cleaned it all up then spotted what was there on to the outer, for more clearance.
