Will soon be getting a gte astra c20let back up and running after being stood 5 years and not fored up in that time. Ive planned to get timing belt kit all filters oil plugs and water pump. Anythin else? Or any other advice before attempting starting?

Check all earths, change your plugs and double check the time my is spot on and set the dizzy correctly if it's an early one.
Also check that any water and air pipes haven't perished or have major cracks in them, fresh oil and water obviously ;)

Pull the plugs first & get some marvel mystery oil down the bores & turn by hand a few times or youl score the shit out the bores
also your fuel will be well feeked if there's any left lol

Id look in the tank for gunk & flush fresh fuel through the lines ;)

Motor factor is fine, try and turn it by hand first if its been sitting for a while.

Elring, Reinz, Gates or genuine, NO BGA or FAI check if round or square tooth belt .
Can supply what you need.
