Nope, saw the original film as a kid and loved it then as it was like an early Terminator. Saw it again recently and it didn't hold up quite as well as I'd remembered, still good though.
I don't watch any of these "you must watch this" American TV series everyone raves about as they just seem like a huge commitment of time, with several seasons with dozens of episodes. I might check this one out though as it would be good to compare it to the original, as although remakes are usually bad, its a cool concept that no doubt benefits from modern effects and budget.

I think it's only upto episode 3 so far, so no huge commitment yet.
Sadly most stuff seems to either last 1 series or be dragged out for 5-8

I watched band of brothers recently, if you have any interest in ww2 it's definitely worth watching. It's about 10 years old but I found it online easy enough.

Plenty of decent box sets to watch nowadays, sons of anarchy, ballers and banshee to name a few.

Aye. I loved the film. Never got away with Futureworld, mind.
The series has me hooked, I hoped it would be great, and episode one certainly was.
