It's stuck how do I remove it.? Tryed the way the Haynes manual says no joy! Also I have removed head what's the best way to store it as will be a while before I refit it!:thumb:
Pry bar
I put the lifters, followers and top hats in individual bags numbered 1-8
thats all you need to do

Ok cheers will the head be ok just sat on the bench? Thanks
I give the parts that can rust i.e. Valve springs etc a coating of wd40 just to protect.as the head is ali there's not a lot that can happen to it.

This crank sprocket won't budge. I assume this engine you carnt remove the key as was told it's machined into the crank?

Just been out and got it off finally didn't wanna budge though lol.
Some are tight, generally they don't come off so are quite tight.my pry bar has yet to be defeated lol, although I have had a water pump I had to smash to pieces to get out,and that was on my bench!

Yeh tell me about it, it didn't want to give up. Some come off quite easily. Pot luck I suppose lol

Call it ocd or gay but I put all the parts that have to go back in the same place in ice cube trays and store them in the back of my cupboard that way I know there in order
