C20xe engine mount problem

Anyone help, recently bought a nova with c20xe conversion already done. It's got solid engine mounts which I'm changing to standard.
Iv changed the 2 gearbox ones.
Iv come to change cambelt side which it had a single hole for the solid engine mount to mount to.


So Iv changed the engine mount bracket to the one with 2 holes to mount the standard engine mount on.
It doesn't line up properly, the engine doesn't sit the same and the new engine mount bracket was pushing the metal cover behind the cambelt against the cambelt tensioner.
Any reasons why?

The xe conversion mount with 1 hole will be in a diffrent place up n down to were the 2 holes should be .
I have to 2 hole mount on my engine and when i fit the single hole solid mount neather one of them lined up n engine sat wonky .
I filled with weld and drilled a new one
