So both of the nova small block size flanges (or hubs)are worn on the inner edges... Joy.

Euro can't get stock in time.
We see that corsa b ones are the same part number. Found corsa b auto in a scrap yard and stripped the knuckles off both sides.

Get back to the workshop, after stripping all the calipers off etc we check the sizes and the bearing side is fine as that's 34mm but noooooo the splines are much coarser than the nova ones we have which fit mk2 cav 1.6 outers (the old fashioned way).

What the funk is going on?
Does the auto take big block outers or something?

You have your wires crossed somewhere... The 'old fashioned way' is mk2 Cav INNERS on Nova 22 spline shafts, using standard Nova outer CVs.

I'm surprised the Corsa ones are different splines on the hub.

You should be able to find some Nova ones from a motor factors unless you have a very tight deadline.

After some measuring etc,
The small coarse spline ones are Nova/corsa
The bigger small spline ones are big block... Machined down to fit nova bearings, and there are unmachined ones in knuckles with machining to take Audi bearings lol

But, all flanges are too heavily worn. House to the rescue with replacements thanks babe
