Currently residing in my 2nd Nova Sport, I built this engine to enable me to take the car to the Nova Sport 30th Anniversary last year, engine is not yet run in.
Engine is still in the car and can be heard running if required
Specification
1.2 Cylinder head, valves lapped in, skimmed new head bolts (smaller combustion chamber 1.2 against 1.3 i.e. for higher compression)
Kent AST 1 cam with new cam followers and hydraulic lifters
1.3 block, rebored 1.0mm oversize (1332cc) decked to raise compression, pistons @ 10 thou proud
New Pistons, Deseamed/lightened conrods, all balanced
Std crank with new big end and main bearings,standard Flywheel, and clutch cover all rotating masses balanced.
All components were hotwashed, and cleaned before assembly
New gaskets through out
Note comes with no ancillaries, alternator, distributor, water pump, twin forties, etc
I will remove from the car once sold, runs smoothly and should develop reasonable power, I have no figures though, estimate @90hp + in current guise

I am going to rebuild the original engine for the Sport
