Nova boot striker/lock replacement

Bought a new boot striker to replace the old one as boot takes a massive slam to close, can anyone tell me how to remove the old one? I have it unbolted but can't figure out what to do next as it's held in place

The rear boot "pin" that is attached to the body come loose and is adjustable, you'll probably find that's all it needs

Allen key and unwind it all the way to remove the pin

3x torx screws (IIRC) and the connecting rod to remove the mechanism itself

However as said adjustment is probably all that is needed.
