Hello, i am in need of some help.

I have a 1992 nova spin 1.2
I also have a 20ne and f16 gearbox from an mk2 Astra gte convertible.

After much research i am still unable to get an answer i am comfortable with.

I want to use mk2 cav inner CVs for the conversion, however i understand you need to use these with nova gte/gsi shafts, which after much searching seem to be hard to get hold of.

Questions.
1. Can i use Corsa B gsi shafts?
2. If i can, will these fit in the nova hubs or will i need corsa hubs too?

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Corsa b shafts are longer iirc, they will fit nova hubs and they are interchangeable with the Nova

a set set of conversion shafts or 22 splines is what you need

Thanks, if i get conversion shafts, dont i then need conversion hubs to allow for the big block outer CVs or can i use Corsa B outer CVs? I have read some mixed reviews about lmf conversion stuff.

You cant use Corsa B shafts? They are too long.

What you need is nova gte shafts with cav 1.6 big block inner cv's.

Or just go big block for what it's worth,

could probs get hubs and shafts for the price of 22 splines these days

sold my last set of 22's for £100 posted
