Just got a new car!! now with pics***

getting my new car friday!!



k plate sri in blue with g max kit, toad alarm, and a new set of astra sxi rims!(which are for sale)
only prob is it has a cracked head! paid ?250 for it and is mot'd till july :lol:
will do for a winter run around! gunna put a 1.6head on it for now, if thats ok to do??!
ill get some pics up!

the 1.6 head may drop your compression ratio a little bit.

camb will this matter too much? should i just get a 1.4 head? c/r is that acording to epc lmfao

erm WRT the epc, i tend to ignore it for "facts" lol.

i havent measured the heads etc but i belive that the volume of a 1.6 head is a little larger than all the others.

anyway. get a 1.2 head, much better ;) lol. if you can try to get an sri head.

Dan i think the SRI has a unique head and i dont think any other cylinder heads will fit it right. Dicko or Ste will know more. Rick

Was it the SRI engine that was used in some Daewoos or something?

I believe the C14SE cylinder head is the same as the C16SE head of which I have a modded one spare in my garage ;)

the sri mpi lump is also found in some daewoo's, got all the GM stamping's un all, prob a better bet as it wont have been thrashed, and is newer/less miles...

selling the wheels as i dont need them they are only 3months old MINT! there 16's with new uni royal 195/16/45 rubber on! the rims were ?400 direct from vaux!
im looking for offers around ?300 well i cant sell them till i pik up the locking wheels nut key :lol:

as i said the wheels are for sale, they are like new, pm me if your intrested!

my friends a panel beater so hes gunna take the small dents out 2moz! :D
other than that interior is almost mint! and i got it at a gud price :D

im putting sri steel wheels on it m8 i want it to look totaly original! i dont know if im gunna keep it or sell it on!, its good condition just needs a few dents taken out the drivers side door! :D

or do i valver it for a laff! :lol:

yea! they sound awsome! the induction roar is hooj :D they are well nippy for what they are! just need a dam cylinder head! :roll:
i think i will keep it for the winter to use as ive got a few plans for the turbo now as this has come along it gives me loads of time to faf around with the nitros kit and intercooler etc etc
