I asked last week about rear suspension mods but has anyone done anything to the front suspension turrets for fitting different top mounts and such like, I know johnny a did Alot of modifications to his tie bars and such like but seeing what other people have done, I'm looking for something neat and tidy but still gives good adjustment.
Thanks
Phil

I meant more for the turret section really rather than rose jointed parts like modifying the turrets either for extra lows or so you can get full adjustment on the top mounts without having to butcher the strut or replacing it with a different style

You can cut the turret off and weld in a section for more shock travel

Open the top hole out for more adjustment on the eccentric top mount

Remake the strut to take a more universal sliding style top mount

Cut it all off and space frame it

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

In terms of priorities; you'll benefit from more castor with the proper tie bars. For the struts I'd only be happy with them being tied into another point on the shell even with the whole thing stitch welded. Mean time spring rates & lengths can make a huge difference.
