Very good in wet or dry and about the best value for money performance tyre you will get. Perform well on track - no vices - go off a bit but not badly. We ran them at Oulton Park when it was soaking wet and they were very effective even in standing water. However being soft they wear out fairly rapidly if driven hard.
TVR flog their cars on em

HI,

running toyos "330" tyre on my 106 commuter - just passed the 20,000 mile mark and they have only lost 2-3mm of tread all round. They seem to grip good for a budget tyre as well

so what the T1-s is like i dunno :S

I had smoe T1-s' a while back. Thought they were great in all conditions. Was a bit disappointed when it came to the time to replace them as i thought they would of lasted longer than they did, but then again, Nova, lowered 60, 19 yr old Loon behind the wheel. You know what i mean.

All in all, i was dead impressed with them.

I got two for the front of mine for ?120 for the pair fitted, balanced, valves, everything. That's for 195/45 R16. I thought that was alright.

I'd recomend them.

Thanks to you all, some good feedback there..... I am not really worried about how long they last, the tyres I used to buy for my bigger bikes cost me around ?180 a pair and only last 3000 miles if I am lucky....

Thanks Guys..

The T1 proxys are a "rim protection" tyre. I may be wrong, but I'm assuming this means the tyre sticks out slightly more than the Alloy. For those of us with low cars that suffer from scrubbage already, this might not be the ideal choice.

Chris, have you had any scrubbage on your car since we fitted the really low springs?

Any idea wheres the best place to buy some off the web? I want 195 45 16's.

Im running YOKO AVS Sport at the moment which are awesome in the dry but a bit sketchy in the wet. Need something a bit better in the wet for winter.
