Sorry if this has been asked lots before! My car got stripped for painting(stripped by a garage) and I'm now trying to fit my new handbrake cables. Does anyone have a layout drawing of pics of these own? All I have is the cables themselves but don't know how they go together
Long bit goes from metal bit from handle to pass side drum, short bit goes to drivers side.

You only need two, but if I'm not mistaken there is difference in lengths depending on the build year.

Does one of the cables have a threaded bar an where does it go

The treated bar goes into separate metal bit that connects the two cables together I'll get a pic later for you if I remember.

Ok I seem to be missing that bit then
To aid your search it's called a yoke. Long one passes through it and short one screws into it.
