My V6 Nova has a wonderful workaround for the radiator fan in that you have to twist a couple of wires together on the dash to get the thing to come on, then rip em apart to get it to go off lol this obviously is a pile of pants so I plan on wiring it to come on in the normal way - I don't really want a switch on the dash - anyone have any ideas where I'd start to look for the wiring / sensor on the engine that switches the fan on?

Also, the temp gauge doesn't work in my dash but I have a different gauge wired in that measures in deg. C - what's the 'normal' running temp of the V6 in deg C does anyone know? I've heard that cars in general should be 'broadly' 90?

Finally, V6 Nova 4 door saloon in silver, J324 PDB - anyone recognise the reg or know anything about it? :thumb: I don't know anything about the engine spec or anything lol

Standard nova rad?

if so, should be a rad fan switch on the left hand side of the rad (viewed from the front) connect the 2 wires you have to twist together to that fan switch and should come on automatically.

90 degrees is about right for running temp.

It's directly below the top hose outlet mate, should be easy to find. Good luck
