Hi guys,
I was just wondering if anyone knew if there is, and where i could get, the specific tool for removing the diff nut on the F13 gearbox?
I am talking about the castleated nut on the casing which holds it in place.
Cheers,
Chris.
25 mm angle iron, about half a meter of it. Take your time and press down hard while undoing.

U used to be able to get them on eBay, but any laser cutter will be able to design and cut one out for you

theres a small supply of original gm stock in america still, but there silly money, around 130 quid for the tool when i looked last.... not worth it.
i'd do what stuart said with a piece of angle iron. cheap and effective.
EDIT : ... i just had a quick look on ebay for some and this aftermarket one popped up.

i dont use them often enough to justify getting a tool myself. upto you. £15 tool, or borrow a slide runner from a cudboard drawer for free :)
Pay the 15quid it makes sense.
Don't know they were that cheap... Buy the damn tool
