i have this minter of a nova flair mk1 as most of you know, i cant really be bothered to big block it, this is NOT a forsale thread etc mods, just asking peoples thoughts and maybe whats about.. but i have my nova back from the old bill and the engines looking good, so id like another rolling shell to put it all in, anyone got anything serious about, will travel anywere to uk , talk to me... and heres a pic of whats left of mine

i DO NOT wish these crash pictures to be shared unless you speak to me first atm, thanks

id like to swap a track prepped rolling shell for this mint flair... must be proper no shitters

I'd say reshell seeing as that shell is mint but then again your call, would swap my escot but is probably in a worse state lol

 that's horrific, thankfully you got out in one piece.

If the flair is tip top then your best swapping everything to that, I know it's breaking up a decent Nova but you'll be knowing it's done right, you could end up buying something else and doing more to get it to a decent standard, so start fresh imo;)

Iirc you said the engine was running upside down.... That'll need pulling apart to check the bottom end bearings as they have a habit of spinning after going he wrong way up :(

I can't believe that you got out of the nova in one piece its amazing

if I was in your position I would build the flair in to the car you want as it just shows by the state of the green one the importance of a strong shell to start with also it's my favourite colour nova

Start with the flair, it's a blank canvas and you can start again and use any salvageable parts off the green one.

The Flair looks like a good source of parts to rebuild the green car

The time and effort it takes to find a proper track shell, you may as well sort the Flair...

if if it was an St, gte etc I would say preserve it, but it's only a Flair, so I say slap the let in that. No question, best colour too imo

God that flair is mint. Deffo leave that well alone.

Put the let into the flair but keep it looking like a flair best of both worlds

Buy a welder, build a spit, buy a proper weld in cage, stitch weld everything on the fair, weld the cage in & create a track focused LET road car.

Strip the flair m9 you know it makes sense. Great colour too.

Do some subtle engine, suspension and brake upgrades on the Flair but otherwise leave it - great colour, condition and it would be a proper q car!

im exhausted just reading that, sounds like far too much work. you must really like nova's.

youll have to buy all new bits wont you ?

the engine might be a bit chewed up, from running upside down.

the suspension will be wasted from the crash, i wouldnt trust re-fitting any of that, for safety reasons.

brakes might be un-useable

radiator and fmic looks bent / cracked. probably some damaged hoses.

wheels are probably bent, tyres damaged.

i dont think itll be a straight swap-over kinda job.
it'll be alot of work, time and money.

i dont mean to sound like an assh0le, just being realistic

reshell it into the flair, but dont put stupid wide wheels on it, decent tyres for uk weather and a cage is a must if its running big power, safety first! hope your well
