which wire goes where? the car came without an ignition barrell so i haven't got a clue...

if youve got a multimeter, you can hook the wires to the terminals of the switch, and check for continuity when turning the key to each position.

from what i can remember, thick red is your constant power from the battery, which provides for the rest.

thin black is accessories, 1 turn on key
thick black is ignition, 2nd turn on key
thick black with red stripe, is starter motor on 3rd turn, which springs back.

its been an age tho, so i might not be 100% correct with the colours.
might wanna double check each wire goes where first, or you may pop a fuse.

that sounds about right, the two that are hooked together make the dash light up and the black with red stripe starts the car
