I am picking up a 2010 1.0 12v Corsa D in need of an engine.
Any idea what year the Corsa changed to this type? Wiki says it changed in 2010, but I have heard 2009.

Also, what year Agila or anything else will I find one in, and where is the engine number, is it on a barcode or something that is easily read in the car? If so, my mate will check the car before I travel down for it, and hopefully I can have the parts ready to go.

The car I am buying is a pre-facelift, so could it have the Gen II Z10XEP motor?

Alternatively, is there any online VX sytem like Ford ETIS, where the chassis number will give the engine code?

Sorry I can't help with your question, but why not stick a 1.4 in there while your at it?

It's just to fix and flip, mate. I have no interest in modifying it.

I have found out it is an A10XEP, anyway.
