We should probably discuss and post where everyone has mounted their switches and how they work, just so everyone knows for future reference.

A 10A or higher toggle or push button will suffice. Hide it behind the dash but easily accessible from the driver's seat.

Ideally spliced in right up behind the dash, although if you're going to the trouble of dash removal then install a proper CAT1 alarm instead.

You have asked on a public forum where people hide their security devices on their cars - the whole point of hiding them is for security, and not to be plastered over the internet.

Also, if you then stick the switches where you are advised, your car is at higher risk of being easily stolen.

Your not the first to ask these kind of questions, and certainly wont be the last. Those that have previously were also highly criticised. Don't take it personally just think next time about asking about security measures on the internet :thumb:

When my key snapped in the ign barrel I had it taken off and then wired a toggle switch and momentary contact swith just under the headlight switch. Zero security FTW :D
