Recently bought some Webber twin 40s. Fitted most of it without much problem.

only thing I can't work out is the fuel return? Looked online at some engines with them and some don't seem to have any that I can see and some have a T piece between the carbs which is the return. Is this the correct way to do it? If not what do I need to do. Pics would be great also.

thanks

No fuel return on my forties, you can just blank the return line on the car.

Likewise, I don't use the fuel tank return line and have it blanked off.

dont they have valves in them, to stop the float bowls over-filling ?

where does all this extra fuel go if theres no return ?

I got a really good genuine tank (see my build thread) but one without a return. I will run mine through a filter king/regulator so no need to worry about too much fuel or a lack of return.

I am sure there was an old trick of putting a carb jet in the t-piece outlet if you were wanting to regulate the flow on the cheap!
