I need a kick up the ass, new baby, nagging wife and a demanding job are all getting in the way of the nova project, when ever I get a few hours the car is the last thing on my mind. Maybe it's time for a holiday. I'm sure I'm not alone I just want to crack on with it now, maybe some warmer weather will help.
You had the enthusiasm to type that post.So there must be summat left lol

I feel the same somtimes with my everyday car breaking every 5 mins I had little time for nova. But I set the deadline for pvs latest so gives me a reason to get on with it
If I were u I couldn't be arsed as well. I work 50hrs a week have no kids but a house with my girl. After working ,cleaning the house, tidying the garden and cars I wouldn't have time to sort a nova. At least for me mine doesn't need any work.
Save money and stress by getting rid of the baby and wife but keep the job and the Nova.

I am a bit the same; work, house, kids (to be honest they are at the age where its more money than time!) and a deadline for my Sport which I know I am not going to make now. :-(
Stick with it though! :thumb:

Same situ here. although I feel things are going to change soon. Missus keeps telling me to get the wheels booked in for a refurb so best I do that and it might be the kick start I need!

Exact same here, I have spent silly money on mine and still not finished sometimes wonder why I bother but I know if I break it or sell it I'll regret it in the future

Try to tackle it in small seperate jobs if you can. Its overwhealming when theres loads to do on the car, but when you concentrate on one bit at a time it doesn't seem so bad and you can see some progress happening.
Paul's right I have a 50 hour a week job a 9 month old an a bare shell gsi rebuild. The best thing I brought is a white board an I just concentrate on one thing. At the moment it's the rear beam an as I do each job I tick it off it's not so daunting. Plus never add up what you have spent an it's a road to depression lol

So your a long way off from needing my sunroof then! lol Hope to see you up Snetterton when the Evenings come back around.
I have a list of to do's, I have parts, I just have no time at present. I think once I get the wheels refurbished that will spur me on to get some of the other bits done.

Well some spare time and a little enthusiasm resulted in an hour or two in the garage, I guess the nice weather helped a tad

Oh-Er...you can raid the garage not me! lol be good to catch up, hopefully the Sting will look a bit different to the last time you saw it by then. Should be April but I'll let you know when.
I've had a few hours in the garage too. After selling the MG for the missus yesterday, I set about sorting out the stereo swap on the Nova. Old stereo went into the MG and I'm glad I did, sounds much better. Next job, get the alloys refurbished, arb's powder coated.
You got anyone to do the powder coating - painting I can highly recommend Jason an jake at lustre coatings. They do a good job at a good price they are at hethel beside lotus if you want the number give me a shout
